Ashley Sitton is the proud owner of Ignite School of Dance. She is happily married with two daughters and has been a part of the mineral area community her entire life. Ashley was raised in Arcadia Valley, before graduating from West County High School. She pursued her bachelors, at Mineral Area Community College and Maryville University and master’s in healthcare administration at St. Louis College of Health Careers.

After working within her field, she decided to leave the corporate world and open Ignite. Ashley looks forward to serving the dance community in our region by becoming one of the top dance studios that not only offers dance education, but also strives to educate the whole student and put dance families first.

When she was presented with this idea of opening a new studio Ashley admits that she was nervous at first, but once she started talking about the goals of the studio, she was so excited to get started! Her eight-year-old has been the catalyst that sparked this adventure. After her dance studio announced its closing at the end of this year, they began searching for a place that would be the best fit, as she can be shy. This led Ashley to pursue trying to fill a space in the industry she believed other kids and parents were missing and really focus on giving every child a super friendly and more personal dance experience.

Ashley’s BIGGEST goal for Ignite School of Dance is for every child to feel welcomed, learn from some of the best, and most of all…have fun! She cannot wait to take this journey with all of you and Ignite the Artist Within!!!
