Jayden Smith

Instructor

Jayden Smith began recreational dance at two years old and by the age of three started competitive dance. Her dance training through Triplett & Propst Performing Arts Studio from 2008 until they closed in 2017. During her time at Triplett & Propst she won several title awards, first place overalls and top ten awards in my solos. Jayden was part of a national winning duet and several national award-winning group routines. Some of those awards include: The Applause Best of the Best and the Weisbrod Cup winner at the National level; Three Starquest Apogee awards; and was part of three perfect scoring routines. She then trained at Dance Creations from 2017 until COVID 19 hit in 2020 where she was also part of several award-winning routines, solos, duos, and trios. Following COVID 19, Jayden switched gears and began training more in tumbling and cheer at Gold Star Academy.

During her freshman and sophomore years of High School she was a member of the North County Cheerleading team. Jayden was a NCA All American. The team won Regional and State Competition both years as well as placing 7th in the nation during her freshman year at NCA Nationals. During her first year as a North County Raiderette she choreographed a solo and took home two second place finishes and a special judges award for Most Entertaining routine of the day. The Raiderette’s also won state in their division for kick and mix during her first year as a team member. In her junior year on the North County Raiderette team Jayden was an NDA All American.

Jayden has trained in the areas of tap, hip hop, lyrical, contemporary, acro, tumbling, ballet, jazz, and pointe. She is going into her senior year at North County High School and continuing as member of the North County Raiderette’s. Miss Jayden is excited to be an Ignite School of Dance instructor and strives to bring a positive and creative atmosphere to the studio!
