Myah Richter

Instructor

Myah Richter began dancing at the age of three and started competing at age four. She began her dancing career at Triplett and Propst from age three until age ten. Throughout her years competing with T & P she had the honor of being a part of several award-winning group dances.

In 2017 when Triplett and Propst closed she began teaching herself and attending workshops and camps. She has a strong acro background and is skilled in backhand springs, back tucks, layouts, and sequences involving those skills. Myah also has taken classes in ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, and hip hop.

She started cheering in 2019 for her middle school cheer team and continued cheering until her sophomore year of high school in 2022. Myah experienced much success during her time as a member of the cheer team. She is a two-time MCAA Regional Champion, two-time 3A Large State Champion, and during her freshman year attended Nationals where her team was ranked both seventh in performance and 11th in game day for their divisions.

For her junior year of high school, she decided to make a change and became a member of the Raiderettes dance team at North County High School. She continued to find success with this team and became a State Champion in both Mix and Kick for their division. Myah will finish her high school years as a senior member of the North County Raiderettes Dance Team.

Myah loves working with children and helping them to learn to navigate the world of dance. Her favorite genres include hip hop and “sassy” jazz. She is beyond excited to have the opportunity to teach at Ignite School of Dance and assist with all dancers and continue to learn and grow as a dancer herself. Myah is excited for the start of the season and to meet everyone as they join the Ignite Dance Family!
